Using positional language

We explored positional language using an animal shape and a shape block. Then we wrote a sentence to describe where the animal is using positional language words. Can you think of another way to describe one of our photos?

BJ said, "The red squirrel is on top of the circle."
BJ said, "The white rhino is on top of the green rectangle."

MNB said, "The orange seal is behind the yellow square."
IR said, "The dark blue horse is behind the light blue hexagon."

KB said, "The orange cat is behind the yellow rectangle."

AN said, "The blue duck is on top of the green square."

BY said, "The yellow rabbit is under the blue circle."

AP said, "The white horse is between a square and a rectangle."

MW said, "The blue camel is between the little triangle and the big square."

RK said, "The orange elephant is in front of the big blue circle."
